I have exciting news: two great Western Australian organisations have initiated a plan to advance the wellbeing and welfare of our local community.

The Bunbury Rock ’n’ Roll Club is a strong believer that social dancing is the best sport for fitness and social connectivity with the added benefit of fun and fashion. Earlier this year, our club approached Lotterywest for a grant to enable the purchase of a first rate sound system would enhance our program of free dance lessons.

Our application was successful and we will receive a total grant of over $10,000 from Lotterywest to fund a quality sound and lighting system.

Lotterywest is proud to support over 400 grants each year and invest over $300 million annually back into the WA community. This is all made possible by WA Lotto players and Lotterywest retailers, who play a role in supporting community groups across the state.

This significant upgrade to our equipment will deliver first class sound and lighting for our bands and in house music. We all love moving to the sound of music and in particular the sounds of the1950’s era. Our function room will now present a significantly better quality of music and lighting and hopefully motivate and energise our members to greater heights.

The Bunbury Rock ’n’ Roll Club acknowledges this generous donation aimed at improving our ability to deliver social and physical health benefits to members in our community.
